Abstract:
Larvae of the insect pest of some vegetable were collected from fruit and vegetable from yards of Myitkyina and its environs. Study the morphametric and duration of each life stage were recorded until the whole life stage complete. Classification of studied four species from(4) Genus, three family, of order Lepidoptera, class insecta. This study four species of crop pests larva, pupa and adult stages occurred in frour vegetable crops. The recorded insect pests were considered as the major pests causing great damage to the plants and yields.
