Abstract :
There are several thousands of drug yielding plants around the world. Only a few drug plants are cultivated. Most of drugs are obtained from natural wild plants thrived in all parts of the world. These wild drug plants are collected and prepared with indigenous ways. The present work deals with some preliminary studies on the medicinal values of wild herbs and shrubs of Dicotyledonae grown in Myingyan Degree College Campus, Mandalay Division. The 20 species belonging to 11 families of medicinal important plants were collected and identified. Diagnostic features of these species were also briefly described with colorful photographs. Part used, Folk uses and their uses in Literature have been recorded and presented.Key words: Medicinal values, Folk use, Uses in Literatures.
