Abstract:
It is a monograph studying and submitting the music art of the chin nationalities. The quoted facts are based on the government-published books, records, township-published magazines, the books of great historians and the interviews with some Chin nationalities. The paper presents the immigration and spread of the Chin people into Myanmar simultaneously with the other national races. Through the study of the distinctive and gentle music art, the aesthetic impromptu poetic songs and musical instruments of the chin nationality, it is submitted comparing with the traditional musical instruments of the Kayin, Kayar, Kachin and Shan.
