Abstract:
In this study, 24 mollusk species were collected from Chaungtha, Ayeyawady Region and utilized to screen the antimicrobial activities of microorganisms. Isolation of microorganisms was done by dilution method and 50 strains of microorganisms were isolated from mollusk species. During the investigation of their antimicrobial activities against the test organisms such as Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella tythimurium, Escherichra coli and Candida albicans were used. 36 isolated strains showed different antimicrobial activities against the test organisms.
