Abstract:
In this paper, the experimental study of the elemental concentration of soil samples from the different farmlands near Myingyan Degree College has been performed. From the EDXRF, the major element such as silicon(Si) and the minor elements such as iron (Fe), calcium (Ca), potassium (K), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), titanium (Ti), strontium (Sr), zirconium (Zr), sulphur (S), zinc (Zn) and chromium (Cr) were found in the soil samples. The relative concentrations of iron (Fe), potassium (K), calcium (Ca) and arsenic (As) were also presented. No significant amount of arsenic (As) was found by AAS method.
