Myanmar Lacquer Arts of Buddhist Religious Paraphernalia

Abstract:
     The article explains and puts forward the prominence of Buddhism in Myanmar, Buddhist religious  arts and crafts, the ten Myanmar traditional arts and crafts, the terms "Yun" (lacquer) and "Yunhte" (lacquer ware), the lacquer arts and basic materials, the grand use of lacquer ware by the king, ruler and chief throughout the successive periods, about six kinds of lacquer art and other Myanmar handicrafts and the preservation and protection of the arts of lacquer ware of Buddhist religious paraphernalia still influential nowadays.
